This workout comes from the Deluxe DVD and in my opinion is worth the extra money. This is a workout where you have Sagi and Autumn in the same workout all by themselves. Nice touch.
This is a total body workout that gets your heart rate up while bringing you a good body pump. The concept is 4 reps, hold on the contraction of the move for 4 seconds, and repeat 4 times. Then pick some heavier weights and do 10 reps of the same or similar move. So you hit the same body part in this combination. You can use dumbbells or medicine balls but I suggest both. The weights used can range quick substantially as I was using a 8lb medicine ball and also a 70lb dumbbell.
The moves include:
- Squat jumps
- Upright rows
- pull ups
- hanging knee curls
- plyo lunges
- plyo pushups
- chest presses
- sumo plyo jumps
- sumo squats
- Military presses
- bicep curls
- tricep kickbacks
- core work
Overall a very good total body 30 minute workout. This had me burning about 450 calories (with some added bicep curls I included at the end) with my heart rate maxing out at 174 and averaging 147.
