I’m Excited for Joel Freeman’s New Boxing Workout Launching This Month!

10 Rounds will be the first Beachbody boxing workout! It’s 5 days a week where you have 3 boxing days and 2 weight lifting days, and the workouts are only 30 minutes long, which I know everyone can do. Joel is currently on a bus tour traveling around the country; he and the crew are filming the program right now in 6 iconic cities around the U.S.
The program is only 6 weeks long, and you only need a set of dumbbells and resistance loops. Also, if you purchase it before May 31st and submit your results to the Beachbody Challenge by July 31st you will receive a special 10 Rounds shirt in addition to the normal Beachbody Challenge shirt. AND you will be entered to win the contest grand prize of $100,000!Want to try it for FREE? The sample workout will be released on March 16th on Beachbody on Demand, or I can send you a link to it if you don’t yet have Beachbody On Demand (BOD). Also, there will be a big Facebook group hosted by Joel for anyone who wants to learn more about the program and receive tips from Joel. The group will be on Facebook from March 16th – March 22nd. If you are interested in being part of the group, please send me a message and I’ll make sure you are added to it.So, when can you get it and how much does it cost? The packs will be available to coaches on March 16th. This means coaches will receive the first 10 workouts 3 weeks before everyone else, and of course coaches save 25% on everything they buy. If you are interested in becoming a coach and having early access and saving money, please let me know. Everyone else will be able to purchase VIP access to the program on April 6th. The challenge packs will be $20 off on sale during March and April, so it’s the perfect time to buy the bundle with or without BOD.

Planning and Awareness Focus of 2020 National Nutrition Month

Choosing nutritious foods and getting enough physical activity can make a significant difference in your health. For National Nutrition Month 2020, in March, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics encourages people to make informed food choices and develop sound eating and physical activity habits.

This year’s theme, Eat Right, Bite by Bite, promotes eating a variety of nutritious foods every day, planning and creating healthful meals each week and the value of consulting a registered dietitian nutritionist.

“Developing healthful eating habits does not mean undertaking drastic lifestyle changes,” said registered dietitian nutritionist Jerlyn Jones, a national spokesperson for the Academy based in Atlanta, Ga. “Registered dietitian nutritionists help their clients develop individualized eating and activity plans with simple steps that can help them meet their health goals. These simple steps are developed to become lifelong habits.”

Here’s a breakdown of the week-by-week focus:

Week 1: Eat of variety of nutritious foods every day

  • include healthful foods from all food groups
  • hydrate healthfully
  • learn how to read Nutrition Facts Panels
  • practice portion control
  • take time to enjoy your food

Week 2: Plan your meals each week

  • use a grocery list to shop for healthful foods
  • be menu savvy when dining out
  • prepare healthful recipes
  • enjoy healthful eating at school and work
  • plan healthful eating while traveling

Week 3: Learn skills to create tasty meals

  • keep healthful ingredients on hand
  • practice proper home food safety
  • share meals together as a family
  • reduce food waste
  • try new flavors and foods

Week 4: Consult a Registered Dietician Nutritionist (RDN)

  • ask your doctor for a referral to an RDN
  • receive personalized nutrition advice to meet your goals
  • find an RDN who is specialized to meet your unique needs
  • thrive through the transformative power of foo and nutrition

About National Nutrition Month

National Nutrition Month was initiated in 1973 as National Nutrition Week, and it became a month-long observance in 1980 in response to growing interest in nutrition.

What IS 10 Rounds?

“Besides an amazing workout?” Joel asks “I’m going to show you how to work your whole body with every punch, just like the pros in the gym. If you want the shredded, ‘cut’ look, you’re going to sweat for it.”

This program is built around the simple, precise, and effective principles of boxing — without the impact. Joel leads you through 3 days of boxing training and 2 days of strength-building workouts with weights that will help you get a true, full-body transformation.

You won’t be hitting a heavy bag or sparring partner. Instead, you’ll be doing it the way boxers spend the bulk of their training time — shadowboxing.

The boxing workouts are broken up into 10 rounds, 3 minutes each. You’ll focus on punching combinations and footwork that will progress over the 6 weeks. You can also crank up the burn by using resistance loops on your legs to get your stance as strong as possible.

Perfectly Roasted Parmesan Broccoli

A quick easy side dish recipe, this broccoli is slightly caramelized and topped with nutty parmesan cheese.

  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese shredded
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes optional

Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees and line a baking sheet with foil. Spray with cooking spray.

In a large bowl, toss together broccoli with olive oil, salt and pepper. Spread in an even layer on baking sheet and roast until golden brown and caramelized, about 20 minutes.

While broccoli is still warm and fresh from the oven, toss with parmesan cheese and chili flakes. Serve warm. Source:

The fruity, chocolaty flavor of this Dark Blue Moon Shakeology recipe is delightfully creamy, with a touch of tart sweetness — perfect for a snack or as part of a healthy breakfast.1 cup water
1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
1 cup blueberries fresh or frozen
1 cup icePlace water, Shakeology, blueberries, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.
